-About Carlo Cannuscio

Cannuscio is a veteran of the restaurant industry, possessing more than 20 years of experience.

Prior to joining Valentino Las Vegas, Cannuscio owned and was general manager of Les Ducs restaurant, an Ithaca, N.Y.-based restaurant specializing in regional French cuisine, for which he is still an investor.

Throughout his extensive career in the restaurant and hospitality business, Cannuscio has held a multitude of positions including restaurant, bar and room service manager for The Jefferson Hotel; manager of Lespinasse Restaurant in Washington D.C.;  president and founder of a premium Honduran cigar distributor; and chef and managing partner of Foxtrot Bistro in Terrasini, Italy.

 

Cannuscio’s professional experience has spanned over various U.S. and European cities including Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Chevy Chase, Md.; London, England; Cannes, France; Vienna, Austria; and Palermo, Italy.

At Valentino, Cannuscio is responsible for advertising and marketing efforts of the restaurant in addition to managing day-to-day operations such as scheduling, supervising and hiring employees.

Cannuscio graduated from the IPAS Hotel and Restaurant Management College in Palermo, Italy. In addition to English, he speaks Italian, French and Spanish.
